Apple Macintosh
wxPython is nearly working on the Macintosh. Dan Shafer is really rather excited about the whole deal.
I stopped using Macs when I left University. Over the past few years I've occasionally considered taking up the single button mouse again but was initially put off by the operating system (what no multi-tasking?). Now that OSX is here I actually went as far as to peruse Apple Australia's web site earlier this year. Which is where the trouble starts.
Essentially, to run BSD with a cool gui front end the nice people from Apple want to charge me double what I would have to pay for a commodity Wintel PC. Woops, that one isn't going to get past the financial committee.
