It's Still The Web Stupid
I've mentioned before the amazing lack of clue of a certain technology company of my acquaintance. Well, they're at it again.
Bear in mind that the majority (something upwards of 75%) of their employees spend their lives on client sites and therefore can only access their email via the ever so lovely Outlook Web Access. Sadly they've had a couple of issues and recently the web agent has been down as often as it's been up. These things happen so don't take it as a criticism of any person or technology.
But, and it's a big but, how do the IT staff at this company notify their users that web access to their email isn't working? You've guessed it, with an email message. Good grief.
